GPS On Cell Phone by Telenav

By Mika | Permalink | No Comments | March 20th, 2007 | Trackback

GPS on your cell phone? You betcha. Telenav is a program that you can download into your smartphone that provides you with real-time GPS tracking informatio, directions, traffic alerts AND re-routing, and the ability to search for nearby points of interest-even tell you where to buy the cheapest gas.

Unfortunately, it’s only available on a limited number of phones, so the chances you have one that is compatable are not the best, but if you are one of the lucky ones, about ten dollars a month gives you unlimited access to a nationwide network that is compatable on most cellular networks.

Some phones do require a bluetooth-GPS receiver or your carrier’s data plan to enable service however, so be sure to check with your provider and the supported devices list before ordering.
