Waterproof iPod speakers

The EGO 25906033 Sound Case (what’s with all the numbers?) is a portable, waterproof speaker setup for your iPod. Not only does it keep your iPod dry when you’re at the beach, by the pool, or even in the shower, it also floats, so if you have the urge to take it out into the water with you, as much as you may try to break it, it won’t sink. The system also has a clear plastic cover that allows you to see the text and video that your iPod has, allowing you to watch videos, as well as enjoy music.

There is also a waterproof click wheel membrane, that allows the user to have operation of the click wheel without removing the iPod. The buttons are not marked on the membrane, however, so you have to remember which portions of the wheel do what, but for most users this is second nature, and won’t pose an issue.

The list price of the EGO 25906033 Sound Case is $149, but Amazon.com has it for sale for just over $100.
