Due to the sound of the airplane engine, the sound of odiferous farts at 35,000 feet above the air cannot be heard at all. Of course, that does not mean that you will not suffer from the bad smell. So when one of the passengers around you start letting out silent farts (thanks to his exotic dinner the previous night), you need to do something about it.

Here are a few gadgets which you may want to consider:

The USB Aroma Digi Fan can help cover the bad smell (including bad breath, strong perfume, body odor) as it dispenses essential oil aromas. You can buy other scents separately, depending on your taste. Plug the fan into your USB port and voilá, the bad air is masked.

Specifications:

  • 90 degree rotatable Fan
  • Fan Size 116 x 73 x 110 mm
  • Weight : 89 gm

Price: $15

If you’d rather not get a whiff at all, get a Fart Detector! It functions like an early warning device. It will give you a warning as soon as methane gas is detected thus, allowing you to hold your breath or leave the area before the air gets bad.

Price: $34.99

Now… if YOU are the culprit and you are the sensitive type who’d rather not make your seatmates suffer, you may want to get a Flat D Chair Pad.

“When gas is expelled the pad absorbs the odor normally associated with the gassy discharge or fart. This flatulence filter thin cloth pad has high absorption of flatulance odor or flatus. It utilizes the highest grade of activated charcoal available to guard or protect you for your bloating or digestion needs.”

Price: $25.95

Don’t suffer in silence. Let the above “toys” improve the scent that permeats the air which surrounds you.

So… which one would YOU get?!
