How to Prepare Your Laptop for Transport

Do allow me to state some of the obvious since, believe me, there are still people out there who do not know even the most logical step… and there is never a “duh” moment when it comes to stupid naive people.

• Turn your laptop OFF.
• Disconnect all the cables and other peripherals attached to your computer.
• Make sure that the display panel is properly latched and closed.

And, most importantly, transport your laptop in a carrying case.

Business travelers should know this by heart.
