Harman Kardon GPS-500
By Aleksi | Permalink |You DO NOT have one of these. This thing plays music files, movies, AND navigates for you, all on your windshield. Why would you buy seperate devices when you can incorporate them all into one, compact package? The audio files supported are MP3s AND AAC as well as WMA. This means that you can listen to iTunes downloads, and probably even use iTunes to sync the music, but that is speculation. It features a 4 inch widescreen display, as well as sleek lines, and decent weight, making it okay for a music companion, as well as being stuck to your windshield while driving. It offers both 3D and 2D, and turn-by-turn navigation.

The GPS comes preloaded with maps of the United States, as well as Canada, and currently is on sale for $100 less than the MSRP if you buy it through Amazon, here.

AAC tracks can be listened to on this device, according to a few retailers, although you’re right that most cannot play AAC files.
Thanks for reading.

Sorry, Charlie, you can’t sync this device with iTunes. Only Apple products sync natively with iTunes. Moreover, you can’t listen to DRM AAC tracks with this device (i.e. all the music + movies + TV shows, etc. you’ve bought on iTunes).
Q: “Why would you buy seperate devices when you can incorporate them all into one, compact package?”
A: See above. Not to mention contacts, calendars, email, photos, camera, weather, better international maps… in other words, there’s MANY reasons. But thanks for profiling the device.
