Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera

The Rebel has been a staple in Canon’s upper-end consumer market for years now. While more advanced Digital SLR cameras can cost into the thousands, while not offering the basic user any more advantages, the Rebel has offered great quality, features, lens options, and compatability, all at a great price for the entry level hobbyist, or the small time professional.

The Rebel XTi, or the 400D, offers a great package, with a 10.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, as well as an included 18-55mm lens, everything you need to get started capturing high quality pictures of your trips or special moments. If you’re more advanced, this camera also allows you to shoot in .RAW which allows you to tweak the exposure after the image has already been captured.

Overall, the Rebel has, and will always be a landmark for entry-level digital SLR owners.
