Apple to refund early iPhone customers

That’s right, for those of you who waited in line to fork over your hard-earned cash to buy Apple’s latest creation, seeing the price drop only months later could have been heart-breaking. Thankfully, Apple is bent on pleasing everyone, so if you spent $599 for the 8 gig, or $499 for the 4 gig version, you can expect to get a $100 store credit refund.

While it’s not as good as cash back in your wallet,$100 should at least get you a new battery. All joking aside, we’re glad that Apple has found the need to both increase their customer base by reducing the price of the iPhone, as well as maintaining their current crop. Maybe this sheds some light on why Apple consumers are so loyal.
